This week Munchkin had her 18 month doctor appointment and I had to bring all of the kids with me. I usually try not to do this so I can actually talk to the doctor without distraction, but some days it doesn't work out that way. AMAZINGLY the kids were perfectly behaved, they sat on the floor out of the way in the exam room and they were very quiet. Munchkin even babbled happily to the doctor and never cried. Then they did the same thing in the immunization clinic. The nurse was so impressed all 3 kids got lolipops and stickers. Munchkin even sat on the floor in their little line after her shots because she wanted to be like them.
To celebrate we went to the store and bought snacks and drinks and then went to the park and played. I usually never let them pick out their own treats, so they were very excited.

Isn't it great when they are actually well behaved. Makes life so much more fun. And then it is fun to reward them and let them know you appreciate them.
