Dart Gun fights
Dart gun fights in our house are always entertaining. Daddy likes to have them frequently and the children are required to wear eye protection. Sometimes they opt for more protection.
Thanksgiving 2011
It is 3 days before Christmas and I am posting about Thanksgiving... that is how life works.
We spend Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa on the river. It was wonderful warm weather and we loved hanging out with the family and letting the cousins play together.
These 2 litle 3 year olds had lots of fun playing together and could often be found off by themselves playing make-believe. I am excited to see them grow up together.
This was the show out the window while the litle girls were inside. Soccer for al ages in she sun. Everyone slept well after soccer.
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for hosting us for the weekend, we had lots uf fun.

Paper ornaments
I have spent a lot of time this fall making paper Christmas ornaments. I needed to make samples for MOPS and I kindo f got addicted to trying different ones. I could post about 15 pictures of them, but I will just post a few of my favorites. These were very simple, and we sold the products at the church Mission Market to raise some money for an orphanage in Kenya.
Our tree in church, we made lots of different ornaments.

Jumping in the leaves
Fall is great, the kids love jumping in the leaves and playing outside. We spent an entire Sunday afternoon playing in the yard. I also made them a cool fort to play in and we had our cookie snack in the fort.

Pencil Toppers, and I spy bags
I have been working some random projects that interest me, or rather. Projects I see on Pinterest that make me think I can make anything.
These I have made before, but there are some extra "I Spy" bags.
Cute pencil toppers, made with felt and sewn by hand. I think they are pretty cute.
A scrap piece of fleece became a Barbie sleeping bag....
Until I tried to get Barbie to fit, she's a little big.
SO I thought maybe the Playmobil people will fit... nope too small.
Maybe I will just put it back in the scrap pile.

Bibs
Scout needs more bibs, I don't do enough laundry to keep up with how fast he can get them dirty. i have been trying to recycle some T-shirts to make them a little cool. This is Daddy's old T-shirt that had a few holes. Next time I will add some interfacing on the T-shirt so it comes out better. This has too many issues, but it works for Scout.
Child proof house?
Scout is now crawling and getting into everything. His favorite... Cords of course.
The phone cord, the computer cord, and the cord for the Christmas tree lights are his favorites.
See, I think it is fun, even when you take it away after I cover it in drool.

Booties x2
This was my second attempt at booties and I failed miserably. They look cute, but don't have enough elastic for them to stay on Scout's feet. They are now being used by a doll, somewhere in this house.
This is attempt number 3... these are almost perfect, I used a rug pad for the bottoms so they wouldn't slide, but the little rubber pieces fall off, and after a month they are not quite so no slip. (plus I have little tan rubber pieces all over the house) BUT, I found Jiffy Grip that people use on pajamas, and my next pair will have that on the bottom. These are warm and cozy and stay on his feet very well.
This is just a cute shot of my model and the big sister who wanted in on the photo shoot.

Camera
What happens when you give a camera to a 6 year old. You get lots and lots and lots of pictures of the pumpkins they carved. These are just a few of the ones that turned out pretty good.
This one was taken by a 3-yr old, and I love the look on her brothers face.

Christmas lists
What do you do when the keeps keep asking for more stuff to be added to their Christmas lists?
I let them cut up the flyers that came in the mail and glue them to a piece of paper. The only problem is that my children are easily pleased and wanted every little piece of junk toy. Except Munchkin, she just wanted 2 Nintedo DS's. She didn't want any games to go with it.

More projects
I made some fall felt coaster, they turned out great, but I haven't found anyone to give them too yet. They were all hand work, and were a nice change.

Strange
It seems strange that I am posting Halloween pictures when it is almost Christmas. But if I don't start them now, they may never get documented and the family will never see them.
This was not actually Halloween, but instead a play-in for violin. But I tried to get a picture of all 4 kids looking and smiling, I did not succeed, but these are my 2 favorites.
This one just makes me laugh. The kids were having fun.
At the play-in.
The whole group, Princess is in the back row, but you can't really see her.
