The kids got to have 2 Easter Egg hunts this year, one at their school and one at home. Munchkin was sick with influenza so she didn't get to do as much, but she still had fun at home.
The boys figured out how to go for horsie rides. Scout usually does this with Daddy and somehow they figured out how to do this without getting hurt.

Easter 2012
We had a great Easter. We had an Easter egg hunt at church and then another one at home with Daddy doing his best to hide the eggs. I didn't get much pictures. Daddy had the big kids and I got to watch this one shake the 2 eggs he found. He was cute to watch.
We did get one good picture taken at church on Easter morning...
This was the 1st version of that attempt... not so good.

Easter Eggs
My kids really like hard boiled eggs....
We colored eggs in the morning, they ate all of them (a dozen) at lunch time. Daddy never even got to see them.

Egg Hunting
Easter is a lot of fun around here. Daddy hid 74 plastic eggs filled with jelly beans in the back yard. We gave Munchkin a head start, but then it was a free for all. Daddy doesn't make it easy.
Can you spot the egg in this picture?
Don't ask my why my son isn't wearing a shirt... I really have no idea, and have given up wondering why my kids do things.

Much Anticipated Easter Baskets
I finally finished the kids Easter baskets, or maybe I should say buckets. They are not perfect but I love them, and so do the kids, PLUS they store compact and flat from year to year and they can be machine washed for when the chocolate melts in the sun. They took a lot longer than I expected, but they were worth the time. Buddy picked out his own train fabric, and the girls chose if they wanted the pink or the floral fabric on the outside. These are the ones for our family.
I did make another blue stripe that was supposed to be for Buddy, but he didn't like it, so I made him a second one. This one turned into a nice gift basket to give away to the neighbor who is having a baby boy this week. I filled it with 3 burp clothes, and 2 chenille washclothes I made in 5 minutes this week.

Easter part -2
Of course we had aour own egg hunt around the house. Daddy had the joy of hiding the eggs and it actually took a long time for the kids to find them all. The ones where the kids had to climb the trees to get the eggs made the kids happy. The eggs each had about 2-3 jelly beans in them, so now we have lots of jelly beans.
Happy Easter
The kids had a great weekend. We had an Easter Egg hunt at church and then we were able to enjoy Easter services together . The big kids loved to check out the hiding spots before they were allowed to pick any up. Munchkin girl was all about finding eggs and filling her basket, she loved it.
